About Annika
Welcome to my site! My name is Annika Wall and I am an award-winning fourth-year student at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa studying Journalism & Communication with concentrations in Multimedia Journalism and Public Relations. My print, broadcast, photography and design work has won awards from the Associated Collegiate Press, Iowa College Media Association and Iowa Broadcast News Association, highlighted by being named the
2020 Pat Pisarik Journalist of the Year and a
Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation scholarship recipient.

I have had numerous experiences, including four internships, multiple student media leadership positions and freelance opportunities in addition to assigned classwork. My newspaper designs have been printed across the U.S., and my work has been published by organizations such as Perfect Game U.S.A. and the Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism.
